About the SalmonDance Film Festival
Local filmmakers get their chance to shine with SalmonDance. SalmonDance showcases a slew of feature and short filmmakers where the audience gets to see local talent and locations in creative lower budget films. This unique film festival is organized entirely by area filmmakers as an answer to larger festivals that have turned to mostly commercial and high budget works.
The highlight of the festival will be seeing and meeting local directors with question-and-answer periods after most of their screenings. SalmonDance has chosen two short filmmakers to showcase bodies of their works as well as several additional shorts. Drawing on the diverse talents of all participants, Seattle is in for a treat of comedies, parodies, thrillers, and dramas .
SalmonDance promises to be another wonderful opportunity for emerging local film talent to grow and to share their work with an appreciative audience.
